The Anderida SAC pairs KO Champions for 2014 are Les Glazzard and Jim Whippy (pictured) after a final fished in gale force winds along the beaches of Pevensey Bay. The duo won with 10lb 7ozs, made up of codling, whiting, pout and dogfish, beating Phil Taylor and Colin Everest who weighed in a combined total of 8lb 11ozs in second place. Whippy won the title last year with Rod Reynolds as his partner, but Les, a new club member, was fishing in his first pairs final. The last competition of the year was won by Darren Mitchell on 10lb 8ozs fishing from Normans bay with Kevin Morgan second with 7lb 8ozs and Jim Whippy taking third on 7lbs. Shawn Smith had the biggest round fish, with a codling of 2lb 10ozs. There were no flatfish caught for the second match running.
