Rex Palmer wins the Festival

The Hastings & St Leonards Town Two Day Beach Festival was on a recent November weekend with two days of contrasting weather. On the Saturday the first three hours of the match were very wet with the rain torrential at times. There was also a huge swell on the sea causing a large surf and very coloured sea. On the Sunday the weather was much kinder with welcome sunshine. The swell had also abated with a light offshore wind.
